While creating formulas for our cosmetics, Anwen was the first company in Poland that considered hair porosity, the most crucial factor determining the selection of active ingredients. Depending on hair’s porosity – high, low, and medium – different hair types require other conditioning substances.
Conscious hair care means finding the right balance between three groups of active ingredients: proteins, emollients, and humectants. The initiator and creator of Anwen brand. The author of a blog dedicated to hair and a book about hair care. The declared “hair maniac” since 2009! Over the years, she has helped thousands of girls to fulfill their dream of having long and beautiful hair. She inspired hundreds of readers and followers to implement conscious hair care. She is a mathematician by training and spends her free time reading, first carefully planning long-distance travels and then traveling with passion, as well as braiding her daughter Zuzia’s hair.
Katarzyna Sawicz
She obtained a Ph.D. in chemistry. Her scientific interests include biotechnology, polymers, and chemical synthesis. She performs as a researcher, businesswoman, and enthusiast of a healthy lifestyle and skin and hair care. She is a laureate of many international awards in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. Privately, she loves long horse rides and her sportive daughters.
